Melting Middle Brownie

Like roses, chocolate is the most obvious association we make if talking about gifts for loved ones. Keeping with a Valentine spirit, this gooey brownie is pure love. And super simple to make.

For 4 individual ones you need:

  • 50g dark chocolate
  • 50g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 30g sugar
  • 18g flour

Preheat the oven to 210°C.

Melt the butter and the chocolate in a bain marie.

Whisk the egg and the sugar until it doubles in volume.

Add in the chocolate mixture, gently combine.

Add in the flour, mix thoroughly.

Pour into the moulds, and bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on how runny you want your center to be. Let cool just enough so you can demould them, and serve while still warm. It is completely acceptable to eat them all by yourself 😉
